The city Council Secretary Igor Polishchuk met with the General Consul of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk Uslovom Mazur

Recently, the General Consul of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk was appointed an experienced diplomat Wieslaw Mazur. And with the newly appointed Consul-General met the Secretary of the city Council, acting mayor Igor Polishchuk. According to him, he has worked in various institutions of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine. In particular, in 2014 the Consulate in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. According to him, at that time it was the only diplomatic mission of the EU in the Crimea. Also Wieslaw Mazur congratulated Ukrainians with the fact that from June 11 will start to operate a visa-free regime. According to him, this is another step towards Ukraine's accession to the European Union. Igor Polishchuk considers the introduction of a visa-free regime was a positive step. He is confident that now the Ukrainians will be easier to travel around Europe. In turn, Wieslaw Mazur added that the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk established quality work visas to our compatriots. According to him, in 2016, the diplomatic Agency has issued more than 280 thousand visas. This year already issued 135 thousand visas. He noted that the process is maximally simplified. During a meeting V. a. the head of Department of international cooperation and project activities of Viktoriya Comaneci spoke about the cooperation of luck with the Polish partners. In particular, our city has seven partner cities in the Republic of Poland. Also during 2012-2015 in Lutsk city Council and municipal institutions, together with the Polish partners introduced 7 grant projects in the framework of cross-border cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013, and is now preparing to new competition cross-border cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020.
