Michael Tytarchuk: Ternopil region is one of the most favorable regions in the development of tourism
Ternopil region is one of the areas which should attract not only domestic tourists but also foreign. It was stated by the Deputy Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Mikhail Tytarchuk during the second day of International investment forum "INVEST Ternopil region-2017". That is why it is very important that this event is held in the Ternopil region, because almost all major roads for logistics pass through this region. "Investment is a multifaceted field that allows you to speak not only about the industry but also on tourism. In particular, in the Ternopil region, I see very good prospects and I think that the Ternopil region is one of the most favorable regions in tourism development. And the tourism sector, as you know – it's the economy, innovations, investments. In every economy, especially in Western Europe, it is almost 10% of GDP. Ternopil region is a combination of clean environment, availability of historical and cultural sites (1/3 of the castles located in the region), as well as entertainment facilities. All this together attracts a lot of tourists. Therefore, from now and in the future the key challenge remains the promotion of the region, and everything else you already have," said Michael Tytarchuk.
