law Enforcement authorities of the Rivne region continue a systematic counteraction to illegal operations with amber. So, employees of the Rivne district police in coordination with the local Prosecutor's office Rivne and operational support of Department of protection of the economy in the Rivne region, Ukraine JO NP 26.05.2017 searched one of the households on the territory of S. Obariv, Rivne district, during which found and removed the stones of raw amber weighing 113 kg. These investigations conducted in the framework of criminal proceedings initiated under article 198 of the criminal code of Ukraine (acquisition, receipt, storage or sale of property obtained by crime).
