Gala concert of the honored Amateur folk choir "Desna" in the Chernihiv
Yesterday, may 28, in City Palace of culture took place the creative evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Nikolai Alekseenko, artistic Director of the honored Amateur folk choir Desna. In addition to the guests and fans to congratulate the honored worker of culture joined the leadership of the City Palace of culture, management of culture and tourism of Chernihiv city Council and Chernihiv oblast education and methodology centre of culture and arts. On the occasion of the anniversary of the choir prepared a concert program filled with folk songs and compositions by famous Ukrainian authors. Their performances hero of the day and spectators were pleased with the model children's folk dance ensemble "Desnyanka" folk Amateur dance group "Druzhba". The founder and first leader of the group was the honored artist of Ukraine Leonid Pashin. Since 2010, the choir headed by Nikolai Alekseenko. The honorary title - "honored" the team has in 1967, in 1961, reaffirmed in 2011. Part of the "Gums" included 40 participants, different age and profession. Over the years the choir has made over five thousand appearances and is known not only in Chernihiv, but also far beyond its borders.
