Rivne: conducted a training seminar on the work of the Prosecutor in information systems "EGR" and "OVOP"
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region 26.05.2017 conducted a training seminar on "Organization of work of the Prosecutor in ensuring the integrity of information, information-analytical system "Accounting and statistics of the prosecution," information system "Unified register of pre-judicial investigations", and the use of data from these systems in the preparation of statistical reports". In the seminar took part the leaders and workers of the regional Prosecutor's office, local Prosecutor's offices, heads of departments, and (in videoconference) the prosecutors of local Prosecutor's offices. During the event, noted that an important component of the activities of the Prosecutor is to ensure proper and timely management of such electronic databases as "OVOP", "ERDR", which fully reflect the activities of bodies of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region. These software systems allow to obtain, maintain and compile data on the state of law in the region, the state, the effectiveness of each law enforcement Agency, which in turn contributes to planning for the future with the aim of preventing offences. Information presentations were made by the head of Department of management of the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations and information-analytical work of the regional Prosecutor's office Evgeny Mokritsky, as well as public prosecutors of this Department Nina Utover and Lyudmila Zemlicka. The participants discussed the order and new mechanisms of primary records in the aforementioned databases, the main aspects of this work in local Prosecutor's offices, presented ways to improve the functioning of these software systems with the purpose of reliability reporting on the work of the Prosecutor. Attention was drawn to the peculiarities of accounting in ERDR of criminal offences and offenders, as well as specific problematic issues that may arise during the display of these and other data, in particular, in the work of bodies of preliminary investigation. Thanks to the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to improve their professional level, to exchange practical experience in this area of work.
