In Chernihiv soon'will traffic signs with LEDs
In Chernihiv specialized municipal enterprise, whose responsibilities include maintaining and equipping the street network and street lighting system (KP CSBP), is preparing for a gradual upgrading of unregulated pedestrian crossings on the streets of Chernigov: there will be installed road signs with led lighting at night (Sign 5.35.1). Along with these signs at these crossings, the company intends to do the night lighting and the crosswalk. At the first stage it is planned to install 62 of such sign - on the most "critical" from the point of view of security transitions. This was told by Vyacheslav Nikolenko, Director of the municipal road construction companies of the Chernihiv city Council. According to him, the company has already purchased a few different types of such signs on the same model, now install them and will conduct experimental tests, which are more efficient. The selection of the mark will take into account the requirements of GOST, performance and best price. The company also has a prototype of such a mark of its own design.
