In the Ternopil region, the government freed the students from mandatory testing of
the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decree definitively abolished the compulsory employment of students. The decision was taken at a Government meeting on 31 may 2017. "Mandatory employment for other students was abolished last year, however, the employment of medical students has left in connection with the position of the relevant institutions. Now medical students can dispose of them after graduation and to exercise their constitutional right to free choice of place of further work", – said the Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych. The decision was made in connection with changes in legislation. So, before the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On higher education" regarding employment of graduates" was repealed rules on the mandatory employment of graduates of higher educational institutions. We will remind that earlier students who studied under the state order was supposed to work for three years at the company, where they are sent to school for distribution. In case the graduate had no desire to work, he was given the right to reimburse the tuition. Testing was supervised by the financial Inspectorate.
