On the Theatre square of Lutsk and thousands of guests gathered at the creative educational interfaith festival “Towards reformation.” The event is held in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the reformation. The aim of the festival is the presentation of social and charity work done by Christian Evangelical churches as well, through a family holiday and positive emotions, to turn the attention of society to the institution of the family. Initiated the festival of the Volyn regional interfaith organizing Committee for the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the reformation with the support of Lutsk city Council. The event started “the Parade of happy families”. Participants marched in a column along Liberty Avenue from the Kiev Teatralnaya square. Main events events are held in the Central square of the city. Addressed representatives of the Protestant churches. Welcoming remarks were made by the Secretary of the city Council, acting mayor Igor Polishchuk. He said: “it's nice that we can do in Ukraine to celebrate 500 years of the reformation. In Lutsk city Council established the good cooperation with the organizing Committee R 500. I would like to thank the social initiatives that you are implementing in Lutsk and Volyn region. Congratulations to all of the family. At the present time it is extremely important to promote family values, love, kindness, therapist, tolerance to each other. I wish you God's blessings, goodness, harmony, peace and prosperity.” On the Theatre square and the street of Lesya Ukrainka is the festival town. The festival program: exhibition of social and charitable activities of the Protestant churches of Volyn, locations for families “Married village” competition “Supertaco”, the exhibition “Country of health”, musical performances and the like.
