With the onset of warm weather in our region increases the likelihood of fires. Springtime, rich in activities for improvement of human settlements, opens the season of unauthorized burning, which lasts until late autumn. All this time, the Supervisory authorities enhance measures to prevent, detect and prosecute such offenders. Control over the prevention of unauthorized burning within the authority of the State ecological Inspectorate in the region. To prevent burning of the vegetation and its remnants, and prevent the occurrence of fires and their spread to adjacent areas and forest plantations, pastures, peat bogs, settlements, state inspectors for the protection of the natural environment carry out a road check. During the raids, also carried out explanatory work with population on prevention of the facts of unauthorized burning and compliance with environmental legislation. So, this year on the territory of Ternopil region revealed 6 facts of the burning remnants of the dry vegetation. The total area burnt was 17.5 ha. With the increase in air temperature and the establishment of bezgodova the weather starts fire season, which poses a new danger – the probability of fires in forests, peatlands and wetland vegetation in the floodplains and reservoirs. Many of these fires take place through the human factor. That's why with the onset of the fire season, the public authorities pay special attention to prevent fires in the forests of the region, primarily by limiting and organizing their visit the tourists. By the way, the Ternopol regional management of forest and hunting economy together with the regional office of emergency Management approved the "Plan of complex measures on prevention and suppression of fires in the forests of the region for the fire-dangerous period in 2017". However, the actions of regulatory bodies are currently focused on identifying and bringing offenders to justice.
