The Prosecutor's office of Rivne region continues systemic anti-corruption measures
an Important role in the fight against corruption is played by the enforcement of the legislation on administrative offences. Using the powers stipulated in article 65 of the law of Ukraine "On prevention of corruption", the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region from the beginning of 2017 made 27 representations to eliminate the causes and conditions that contributed to the Commission of offences related to corruption. By results of consideration of the heads of the agencies involved in the violations to a disciplinary compliance 5 officials, other views are under consideration. Violation of anti-corruption legislation were revealed in the activities of local state administrations, local self-government bodies, state control and law enforcement. Also this year, the courts considered 26 reports on administrative offenses related to corruption, compiled by the specially authorized subject in the area (UZA in the Rivne region of the Department of protection of economy of the National police of Ukraine), which was decided on 13 bringing the perpetrators to administrative responsibility in the form of fines. Most of the violations concerned the public sector, decisions on land relations and in other spheres of public life. Among the involved – 2 deputies of local councils, 8 officials of local self-government 4 categories and 3 law enforcement officers. As an example, Sarny district court 19.05.2017 to administrative responsibility in the form of fines involved a former police officer who filed an untimely Declaration of a person authorized to perform state functions or local self-government and violated the requirements of article 45 of the Law of Ukraine "On prevention of corruption" and committed the offence of corruption under part 1 of article 172-6 of the Cao. In addition, in the current year bodies of Prosecutor's office of area was 11 criminal proceedings under article 366-1 of the criminal code of Ukraine in cases of willful failure by the deputies of local councils, and judges in the resignation of declarations of persons authorized to perform state functions or local government. Pre-trial investigation in these industries is conducted by police region. Preventing and combating corruption remains one of the priorities of the Prosecutor's office. Work in this direction continues.
