Acting mayor Igor Polishchuk visited the festival of spiritual songs "Volynsky gospel"

the Seventh all-Ukrainian festival of spiritual songs "Volynsky gospel" took place in Lutsk. The event was organized on the occasion of International children's day. The aim of the festival is the traditional prayer for orphans, children with special needs, the organization of interesting leisure activities for them and also a charity fundraiser for underprivileged children of Volyn. Gala –concert "Volyn bells" gathered in the hall of the Volyn regional academic music and drama theatre named after Taras Shevchenko, a large number of guests. The festive event was attended by the Secretary of the city Council, acting mayor Igor Polishchuk, Deputy Chairman of the regional state administration Svetlana Myshkovets, clergy, spiritual songs and lovers community of the city. During the solemn opening with a salutatory word to participants addressed the acting mayor Igor Polishchuk. “It's nice that in Lutsk the festival of spiritual songs, goodness and mercy. In these difficult times that Ukraine is now experiencing, many of us do not have this mercy and love. So let's be kinder to each other and to those who need it. I wish you all good health, peace and God's blessings for good deeds”, -he said. Deputy head of Volyn regional state administration Svetlana Myshkovets wished everyone love, respect and support. On behalf of the participants Volodarskogo movement "Patrons for a soldier” deep appreciation to the clergy expressed the coordinator of the project Ruslan Teleski. He thanked for the spiritual and financial support to the organizers of the festival - Volyn diocese of the UOC. For the guests of the festival started with an interesting and diverse concert program. Also, the festival opened a unique photo exhibition of large families of clergymen of the Volyn diocese of the UOC, which shows large and friendly family of priests.
