Chernivtsi: More than a thousand students took part in the "Olympic day"
14 June in the Central Park of the city of Chernivtsi hosted the festival "Olympic day". Participants of the festival were more than 1,000 children – pupils of Chernivtsi schools. The event was joined by representatives of the Chernivtsi city Department UDSNS Ukraine in Chernivtsi region. Rescuers taught the participants the rules of safety, telling them about a variety of threatening situations and explaining how to act in this case, not to get hurt. Most attention during the festival, the firefighters were paid to the explanation of safety rules during the summer. Rescuers told children how to behave during a vacation in the woods and on the waters, explained why children should not swim without adult supervision and to light fires in the forests. To make young citizens aware of this information, the officers were distributed among the participants of the festival leaflets with safety rules.
