Chernivtsi: the seminar at the town Hall entrepreneurs familiarized with the changes in labor legislation
June 14, the Department of labor and social protection of population of the city Council in the framework of preventive measures conducted a seminar for business entities operating in the field of hotel, restaurant businesses, public catering establishments on the theme "changes in the labor laws, liability for failure to comply with the payment of ERUs". The main objective of the seminar was to familiarize participants with the changes in labour legislation that occurred in 2017. As noted by the Deputy Director, head of Department for labor and social protection of population of the city Council Irina GRES, local authorities are entitled to check compliance with labor legislation, but until recently no separate procedure for conducting such inspections have been developed. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution dated 26.04.2017 No. 295 "Some issues of implementation of article 259 of the code of laws on work of Ukraine and article 34 of the law of Ukraine "About local government in Ukraine", which approved algorithms of control and supervision over compliance with labor legislation. To conduct inspections on the enterprises and physical persons using work of hired workers introduced the head of the Department on the issues of observance of legislation on labour, employment and other regulatory legal acts of Management Rostruda in Chernivtsi region Yuriy Purich. The participants of the workshop received comprehensive answers to questions on inspections and penalties in case of non-observance of the labour legislation. Representatives of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which took part in the workshop, elaborated on the peculiarities of filling of the report on ERUs, and the head of financial-economic Department of the Main Department of Pension Fund of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region Lily lelyukh told the participants about enrollment periods work in insurance experience in retirement and also about the project of the new pension reform. Given the relevance of issues related to socio-labour relations and protect employees, citizens, the workshops will be continued.
