The first kind of additional leave provided for by the relevant List of productions, works, professions and positions of employees whose work is associated with increased neuro-emotional and intellectual stress or performed in special natural geographical and geological conditions and conditions of high health risk, which gives the right to annual additional leave for special nature of work, approved by the order of the Ministry of labor of Ukraine from January 30, 1998 ¹ 16. And for the second type - leave for irregular working hours - the employer, in consultation with the workforce, defines the categories of workers with non-working day in the collective agreement. The maximum duration of such leave may be 7 calendar days. According to article 9 of the Law on leave, length of employment, entitling the employee to additional annual leave shall include the time of actual work with harmful, severe conditions or special nature of the work, if the employee occupied in these conditions not less than half the length of the working day; annual basic and additional vacations for work with harmful, severe conditions and for very special nature of the work. Additional annual leave employees may be granted simultaneously with the main holiday or away from it. If the employee is entitled to a few additional leave, additional annual leave will be granted only on one ground chosen by the worker. Payment of such leave is at the expense of the company. At the request of the employee the annual leave is replaced with monetary compensation. The duration given to the employee's annual and additional vacations shall not be less than 24 calendar days.
