Athlete from Zhytomyr region took the first place in the championship of Ukraine on race walking
Athlete, who represented Zhytomyr oblast, Tamara Gavrylyuk won the first place among the youth at the championship of Ukraine on race walking for 20 km. The championship was held on 17 June in Sumy. Competitions of the championship of Ukraine became the last stage of selection in the national team of Ukraine to participate in the world championship in athletics, held in London from 4 to 13 August 2017. Tamara Gavrilyuk (Stasiuk), which predstavljala Zhytomyr SDYUSSHOR (trainer Andrey Chernov) took the first place among youth and third place among adults at the distance of 20 km with result 1:37.28,0.
