Employees of the investigative Department of Prosecutor's office of Transcarpathian region together with employees of Department of fight against corruption and USBU organized crime in the region (ABCOP) exposed and detained while receiving 5 thousand UAH of illegal benefit of the Deputy chief of a customs post “Forks” of the Transcarpathian customs state fiscal service (part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine). As pre-installed these funds to customs received for the granting of permission to freely travel across the border of tobacco products, hidden in a car tire. When you search for MP “Forks” seized "black box office,” customs officials in more than 20 thousand UAH. Now Deputy head of the customs office detained as article 208 criminal procedure code, the question of declaring him suspect of committing a criminal offense under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine – receipt of unlawful benefit by an official. However, checked the involvement of other officials of the MP “Forks” as customs officers and border guards, to commit the said offense.
