In Ternopil implemented automated fare collection (AFC) in public transport. For this purpose all categories of them will be a special “Card Ternopil resident”, which will allow students to travel with 50% discount, and the beneficiaries – for free. Also, we are introducing a special “Card Ternopil resident" of the chip, through which residents will be able to pay contactless for travel. This card will work on the so-called “differential rate” when the owners will pay for travel in public transport less than those who will pay for the fare in cash. “Now comes the process of making e-tickets for students. The tickets will be personalized with the contact data, photos, private room, with a high level of protection, they are built special chips for contactless reading of information about the trip in the bus or the trolley will automatically be the card to play fare, be issued a receipt indicating the route number, time, number of trips, and the like, - says Director of LLC «System» Vitaly Vasilkov. – Now finalized the routing, then the electronic card will be issued to other categories of inhabitants of Ternopil”.
