In Vinnytsia region court sentenced the bribe taker to the real deprivation of freedom
Completed the trial in the criminal proceedings against extortion and obtaining illegal benefit in the amount of 1 000 $ investigator of one of the police Main Department of the National police in the Vinnitsa region on signs of the criminal offense under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or obtaining illegal benefit by the official) We will remind, the militiaman demanded these money in the face for deciding on the closure of criminal proceedings on the theft. Based on the findings of the investigators of the investigative Department of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region evidence and the principled position of the public Prosecutor, the court recognised the militiaman guilty of the crime of corruption and sentenced the latter to the real punishment in the form of 5 years 6 months imprisonment with confiscation of property, deprivation of the right to hold certain posts and practice certain activities for a period of 3 years, with deprivation of the special rank senior Lieutenant of police.
