Experts Chernihiv city center of social services conduct preventive conversations with teenagers
Last week the staff of the Chernihiv city center of social services for family, children and youth together with student interns II and III of the course Chernihiv national technological University visited the regional children's tuberculosis sanatorium "Green grove". The aim of the event was prevention of socially dangerous diseases, overcoming harmful habits, preservation of reproductive health, promotion of a healthy lifestyle on the occasion of International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. In the course of preventive work with teenagers lecturers introduced with statistics regarding the abuses committed in the city this year, calling at the same time be wise and prudent in their actions. After all, the main reason of crimes and offences among teenagers is the use of alcohol and psychotropic substances. Experts at the meeting gave specific examples of negative adolescents and young adults who "slipped of the social steps", losing valuables, health, respect and a prosperous future for alcohol and drug abuse. Upon completion of the outreach preventive work, the participants of the event received promotional products center of social services for family, children and youth.
