Rivne region, seized more than 16 kg of amber of various fractions,which are transported in the vehicles of residents of the area
law Enforcement Field continues systematic work on the identification, disclosure and investigation of criminal offences related to illegal production, sale and movement of amber. Thus, in Rivne 02.07.2017 employees of the patrol police stopped a car brand "BMW" under control of 20-the summer inhabitant of Zdolbuniv district and after a surface inspection of the trunk of the vehicle was discovered and seized about 11.5 kg of raw amber, which were placed in plastic bags. Another foreign car "Renault Kangoo", driven by 21-year-old resident of the area, the patrol stopped 01.07.2017 near dubrovytsia and withdrew from the salon for almost 5 kg of "sun stone" obtained by criminal means. The seized amber with a total weight exceeding 16 kg sent for examination. Its value is set. On these facts began pre-judicial investigation on signs of the criminal offense under article 198 of the criminal code of Ukraine (acquisition, possession, knowingly obtained by criminal means property). In criminal trials, procedural management which is exercised by bodies of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region, investigations are continuing to establish the persons involved in illegal production and movement of amber.
