In the Ternopil region, the government has removed the bar'barriers to the development of the mobile payments market

the Government has removed barriers to the development of the mobile payments market. The decision was made July 4 at the Government meeting on the proposal of the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine. The said decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine establishes the mechanism for returning users (consumers) in cash for mobile services, taking account of the Pension Fund. "The absence of such a mechanism has created a barrier to the functioning of the market of mobile payments. we settled it and established a refund mechanism in cases where payment by mobile is not connected with payment of services of Telecom," commented the decision of the Government the First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv. The Government resolution specifies that when you return to the user unused funds for pre-paid services of mobile operator the funds are returned in the full amount that is subject to the obligatory state pension insurance; the amount of the fee kompensiruet the operator by reducing the corresponding payments to pay the levy in the future. The resolution also removed barriers for development of cashless payments and remote-providing mobile subscribers financial services. The Ministry expects that in Ukraine two years after introducing the technology of mobile payments is approximately 8 million Ukrainians will benefit from services, and the market of mobile payments in the first year after implementation of the technology will exceed 0 million.
