The separation of active sludge from purified water is in the sump. For disinfection of pathogenic bacteria that remain in the effluents, and thus reduce the danger of contamination of water reservoirs is disinfected with sodium hypochlorite in the contact tank. Purified and disinfected water is discharged into water object of the river Ikva. Currently, Pochayiv city Council is working on production proyektno-budget documentation on the second phase of treatment facilities, which is planned to be realized in 2018.
