A native of Donetsk, Rivne admitted to militiamen that took part in the terrorist organization "DNR"
based On the collected employees of the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region and security agencies, the evidence established that 57-year-old native of Donetsk region entered 2014 with the promise of a cash reward to the one of the illegal armed groups of the terrorist organization "DNR", which change of borders of the territory and the state border of Ukraine. For the past 2 months on the orders of the leadership of the armed group carried out the protection of strategic facilities and buildings on the territory of the Slavic area of Donetsk region. However, disappointed in the activities of the terrorist organization, the man left the temporarily occupied territory of the Eastern regions and arrived at the Region where frankly admitted employees of the security Service of Ukraine in its illegal anti-Ukrainian activities. Further, during a pretrial investigation the citizen promoted by the investigator pre-trial investigation body the disclosure of a criminal offense under part 1 of article 258-3 of UK of Ukraine (participation in a terrorist organization). "In accordance with part 2 of this article of the criminal code, a person who voluntarily informed law enforcement authorities about terrorist activities, contributed to its termination or the disclosure of crimes committed in connection with the creation or activities of such group or organization shall be exempt from criminal responsibility", - explained procedure, the Prosecutor in the criminal proceedings - the Prosecutor of Department of supervision over observance of laws by bodies of SBU, and state border service of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region Andrey Babich. Therefore, given the fact that the man surrendered to the police and confessed to committing the offense, and that his actions do not constitute a crime, the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region has directed to court the petition for the release of the latter from criminal responsibility.
