Vinnicchina: consideration of requests for information by public prosecution bodies of the region in the first half of 2017
In the conditions of reforming of bodies of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region have taken appropriate measures to ensure the proper organization of work on access to public information, timely disclosure and provision of information to queries. In accordance with the requirements of the law of Ukraine «On access to public information,” the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region information, which is in the possession of the Prosecutor's office, posted on the official website. On the official website of the regional Prosecutor's office placed graphics reception asking as well as reception of citizens by the leadership of the regional Prosecutor's office; the email address which received the treatment and requests for information, contact telephone numbers, information about the structure of the apparatus of the Prosecutor's offices, the location and number of means of communication''yazku of local prosecutors. The public is also regularly informed of the results of activity of bodies of Prosecutor's office of area, namely on the results of judicial consideration of resonant criminal proceedings, the adoption of measures regarding the representation of interests of citizens or state in courts, the implementation of coordination of activities and reforming of bodies of Prosecutor's office. One of the important ways of access to public information in the Prosecutor's office is to provide information to queries. Prosecutors in the region for 6 months of 2017 received 36 requests for information, including in the office of the Prosecutor of the region 28. In comparison with the same period in 2016, their number decreased by 54 %. Of those that did, considered 32 requests for information, 4 - directed to the proper managers. During the year, 2 requests reviewed Jmerinsky local Prosecutor's office and one - Bershadsky and Mogilev-Podolsky local prosecutors ' offices. By results of consideration of 16 requests for information provided the information that rose’explained the requirements of the law by results of consideration of 11 queries, including, for 10 the office of the regional Prosecutor's office. Rose’explanations were provided mainly in SV’'yazku that citizens sent requests, including e-mail, which contents are the addresses and thus could be resolved in the order determined by the Law of Ukraine «citizens». In 5 cases, the provision of information is denied, in connection’connection with its allocation to a category with restricted access and from other bases specified by law. The failures in SV’connection with non-payment is not established. Most often, information was requested on the issues of organizational - administrative activity - 5, on the issues of pre-trial investigation - 5, personnel - 5. Other issues considered 16 requests. In bodies of Prosecutor's office of area the most requests were received from citizens – 21, representatives from media – 9, from public organizations – 5, from other legal entities – 1. In all cases, responses to requests were provided in writing by mail or email asking. Prosecutors region will continue to provide access to public information established by law.
