The Prosecutor's office takes active participation in international cooperation
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region, provided the proper organization of work in the field of international cooperation and legal assistance in criminal proceedings. For that, the effective measures and performed the obligation of Ukraine before the international institutions in matters of extradition, legal assistance, investigation of criminal proceedings filed in the criminal prosecution to law enforcement authorities of the Rivne region. In particular, the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region from the beginning of 2017 organized the implementation of 33 requests from foreign States for international cooperation during criminal proceedings. At foreign competent agencies, the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region sent 8 requests of law enforcement agencies of the region on international legal assistance. In particular, queries regarding the implementation of procedural actions had been sent to the Republic of Belarus, Czech, Hungarian and Polish Republics. From competent authorities of foreign States for further prosecution received 2 criminal proceedings in which the currently ongoing pre-trial investigation. In extradition the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region sent to foreign countries (Republic of Belarus) 1 citizen, 1 other person on the results of the extradition check transferred to a foreign government (the Arab Republic of Egypt) law enforcement authorities for criminal prosecution. In the field of international legal cooperation is carried out the international search 8 the perpetrators of criminal offences in the region.
