Chernivtsi: the Reform of the pension system – an important step towards restoration of social justice in the payment of pensions

This was announced by the head of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region Mikhail Romanov during communication with journalists. The first step of implementing change will be the introduction of unified rules for determining the pension size. In addition, from 1 October 2017 the Government will abolish restrictions in the payment of pensions to working pensioners. Noted that the drafters of the pension reform was primarily aimed at creating a fair system of pension insurance. Another very important aspect, according to the head of the pension service territory, is the release of the joint system from unusual for her expenses, in particular, the cost of financing social pensions. The proposed solutions require additional funding. These resources will be achieved through further growth of incomes of the budget of the Pension Fund, the deshadowing of the economy and improve the payment discipline in terms of payment of the single social contribution.
