Will judge 4 members of an organized criminal group,which was established in the Rivne region illegal gambling business
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region approved and sent to the court indictment against 4 persons – inhabitants of Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi and Rivne regions, which in the structure of the criminal group organized illegal activities online gambling (signs of a criminal offense under part 3 of article 28 of part 1 of article 203-2 of the criminal code of Ukraine). Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out by investigators of the investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Rivne region for the procedural management of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region. Based on the collected evidence established that the two organizers of the illegal business in collusion with two other members of the group, arranged in the cities of Rivne and Kostopil network of game halls in which visitors were provided the services of access to gambling, with the aim of winning with the use of computer technology. According to the criminal plan and the distribution of roles associates provides uninterrupted gambling, concealed illegal activities in the Internet and the proliferation of state lotteries, provided the supply of computer equipment. Part of the funds obtained through criminal activities, the organizer distributed among the group members, and the rest were sent for further illegal fishing. Illegal activity is exposed and stopped by police officers in September 2016. During carrying out the authorized searches in the premises of gambling establishments confiscated 228 pieces of computer equipment with appropriate software and the money received from the players make bets. The evidence base has expanded also seized by the police of CCTV footage, which recorded how people play slot machines and draft documentation.
