The automated system of payment for journey in Ternopil will operate according to clear rules
at the End of June at the meeting of the Executive Committee made the decision “On approval of the Procedure of functioning and requirements to automated accounting system of payment of journey in city passenger transport of the city of Ternopil”. This document defines the basic requirements for the functioning of the AFCS, the main equipment and means of payment for the fare. Consequently, electronic cards for payment of fare will be personalized (with photo, contact details of passengers, and the like), as well as non-personalized; according to the type of balance: with the appropriate number of trips or in the form of electronic purse; for one kind of transport or common for all types of transport; with a limited validity period or without such limitations. There will also be a personalized e-ticket "Social card of the inhabitant of Ternopol”, which is designed for passengers, which are exemptions on the payment of transport services and to provide access to other municipal services. For convenient use of the electronic ticket will be sale items/replenishment of electronic tickets on public transport. Also in parallel, the system will be automated to alert passengers and GPS monitoring of the work vehicles in the form of information screens. Supervisors who will work on the shuttles, will use a special electronic map and Vamos validators on the vehicles to confirm the performance of the functions.
