Bishop Vasyl Semeniuk thanked the mayor of Ternopil for help in organizing the pilgrimage. “I Want to thank you for the help in organizing the pilgrimage, because it depends on all of us that a pilgrimage was held at a high level. And we receive guests from all regions of Ukraine, in particular, there are people from Crimea, Luhansk, Donbas, came pilgrims from Warsaw, Germany, and France. And so the mother of God gathers all people, spread all over the world», - said the Metropolitan Vasyl Semeniuk. The head of the UGCC Patriarch Sviatoslav during the sermon stressed that celebrating the anniversary of the 150th anniversary of coronation of the icon, we feel that here is forged the victory of Ukraine. “We come here to repent of our sins, be resurrected to God's life, to learn to live a real Christian life, to forgive even enemies. This means that here with Mary we overcome evil, the devil, which is the root cause of war, sorrow, suffering and all that causes tears, wounds and blood of the Ukrainian people”, he added.
