The regional development Agency in Ternopil region – a key instrument of attracting investments
Under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman-chief of staff of the Ternopil regional state administration Igor vons out a regular meeting of the working group for the establishment of the regional development Agency in Ternopil region. During the meeting were discussed the results of work on creation of the Agency. Also, potential co-founders had the opportunity to get acquainted with the main directions of work of this institution, and to Express their vision of the institution and take appropriate decision on participation in the creation of the Agency. Recall that the region continues the process of creating regional development Agencies. The corresponding order was signed by the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna. Decision adopted at the session of the Ternopil regional Council. Relevant legal documents by the founders identified representatives of a regional Council granting the right of signing of founding documents and in the composition of the Supervisory Board. The main tasks of the Agency for regional development: the launch of a number of investment projects, promotion of the region, providing advice on the preparation and implementation of programmes and projects for regional development, providing technical assistance in the formulation of development strategies, introduction of system of monitoring their implementation, development and support of business, including financial-credit, work with communities to build their capacity to develop new funding mechanisms, initiatives, attraction of international technical assistance, support of investors. In the future, the Agency should be the executor of projects of state and regional programs, to be a full partner of the international financial institutions.
