In the Rivne region in Sarny the local Prosecutor's office discussed the issues of observance of the law during detention of prisoners in prison
In Sarny the local Prosecutor's office under the chairmanship of its leader Yaroslav Bagla held a joint meeting of law enforcement leaders to discuss issues of compliance and constitutional rights of citizens in the execution of judicial decisions in criminal proceedings, as well as the application of other coercive measures related to restriction of personal liberty. The event was held down 17.07.2017 with the participation of the employees of the local Prosecutor's office, heads of Sarny and Aralskogo of police departments and their territorial offices, penitentiary facilities and regional departments on the issues of probation West interregional administration for execution of criminal sanctions and probation service of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine. After discussion of the information the participants focused on the revitalization of recidivi on the prevention of crime, organization of adequate prophylactic and preventive activities with convicted persons aimed at preventing the Commission of offences ptoblem persons and rising level of crime among prisoners who are serving sentences not involving deprivation of liberty. In addition, the necessity of proper organization of work and compliance with legal requirements in the performance of administrative sanctions in the form of public and correctional works, execution of court decisions on the imposition on the offender of an administrative penalty in the form of arrest, enforcement in accordance with legislation and the recommendations of the European Committee for the prevention of torture or inhuman treatment. Separately discussed the issues of observance of the constitutional rights of persons serving sentences in places of detention, adequate medical, sanitary maintenance, protection and labor, and ensuring of the regime requirements. At the end of this meeting, developed a joint agreed measures that will contribute to the revitalization in this area.
