Andriy Reva: In the Ternopil region really comes to life social services
within the framework of his working visit to Ternopil region, the Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva together with the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Bar visited Ternopil regional center of social rehabilitation of disabled children, on the street. Sakharov, 2. Institution after a complete renovation, which began in 2015, designed to service during the year 250 children a full course of rehabilitation. At the same time, the center has the only in Ukraine the Department of rehabilitation at place of residence. The topics: psychological and educational rehabilitation, vocational and employment rehabilitation, social and domestic rehabilitation, work with parents. At the same time, with the end of one project, this 2017 started working project "Reconstruction of existing premises of the Ternopil regional center of social rehabilitation of disabled children", that aims to increase the number of children that can receive care and rehabilitation in this center. As noted during the stay in the centre of the social policy Minister Andriy Reva, in the Ternopil region really comes alive in the social sector. "The result is that I can do so by visiting the geriatric ward in Velyki dederkaly Shumsky district and the regional center of social rehabilitation of disabled children in Ternopil, – our country comes alive. The construction, development and it gives hope that still we can do it all, Ukraine will be successful and we will achieve all the social standards that are our neighbors-Europeans", – said the Minister. In turn, as noted by the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna, the last two years the regional administration is working towards the development of the Ternopil regional center of social rehabilitation for children with disabilities. "This year we have allocated 2.5 million UAH. from the regional budget. Work continues in the direction of expansion. I want to note, if last year for the year received services of social rehabilitation 98 of children with disabilities, this year in the first six months – 76. And, accordingly, as the development means the expansion of the area of repairs in this room, we will increase the number of children who will undergo rehabilitation here," – said Stepan Barna.
