Monday, July 17, with the participation of the Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva held its official opening. Despite the fact that the implementation of the project began in 2007, most of the work came in 2015-2016. This was possible thanks to a clear position of leadership and funding from the State Fund of regional development. Actually, these funds have carried out the reconstruction of existing buildings of the medical unit, boiler room and store for stationary Department. Also undertook finishing works in the main building, spent fuel installation, Elevator, water treatment plants. Completed the landscaping. All works comply with the current European standards and performed, respectively, at a high level. Now the office can accommodate about 40 of the elderly, the lonely, the disabled and people with disabilities not only from the Shumsky district, but also from the surrounding areas. Stay in geriatric completely free and financed from the State budget. "When I first came here, we have set ourselves the goal that this facility should be completed. Because we sometimes are so fashionable that builders are starting to build, build year, five, ten, and there is no end to it. It turns out that this object could be done in two years. And I am pleased that the number of long-term construction, which have a place in the area decrease," – said the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna during the opening of a geriatric. At the same time, Stepan Barna noted that this opening again denies all the rumors among the locals that this property was built for the relatives of Ministers. "I guarantee that after a few days, 14 seniors who are now in the old building geriatric home settled in a new, fully drconstraint office. After all, this house is designed only for people who need support, care and assistance from the state", – said the head region.
