United community needs to intensify work on the preparation of applications for projects that are planned to be funded at the expense of subventions for the development of infrastructure. And regional public administration and local self-government should be the first assistants to the communities in this matter. This was stated by First Deputy Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services Vyacheslav Negoda during the session of the Commission on consideration of project applications for projects that can be financed with subventions for development of infrastructure GSS. "Last year at this time, through a large number of applications, the Commission did not have time to consider them. This year communities twice, respectively, should increase the number of applications, although the actual situation shows more. Why this passivity? Regional state administration and local self-government needs to be proactive and help communities, especially new, that now for the first time are faced with issues of preparation of such documents", - said Vyacheslav Negoda. During today's meeting, the Commission considered 105 applications received from 29 GSS from 12 regions of Ukraine. Agreed by the Commission 97 applications, the total cost of the projects is more than 96 million UAH. Other applications are directed to communities on completion. We will remind, the state supports the United territorial communities, in particular in the reconstruction and development of infrastructure of their territories. For this purpose in the State budget for 2017 is provided UAH 1.5 bn. These funds will be directed to infrastructure development 366 United communities created in 2015-2016. Previously, the Commission approved 22 projects from the joint 6 local communities and 5 areas.
