Minister of social policy opened the long-awaited geriatric Department in the Ternopil region (BEFORE and AFTER)
started through the efforts of the regional state administration, the leadership of the Shumsky district and Velykobagachanska community completed another unfinished – geriatric Shumsky territorial center of social service of pensioners and lonely disabled citizens. same, July 17, with the participation of the Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva held its opening. Despite the fact that the implementation of the project began in 2007, most of the work came in 2015-2016. This was possible thanks to a clear position of leadership and funding from the State Fund of regional development. Actually, these funds have carried out the reconstruction of existing buildings of the medical unit, boiler room and store for stationary Department. Also undertook finishing works in the main building, spent fuel installation, Elevator, water treatment plants. Completed the landscaping. All works comply with the current European standards and performed, respectively, at a high level. Note that the stay in the geriatric ward for elderly people and single disabled people is absolutely free. Their stay there is provided by the state.
