In the Ternopil region the honorary title "Mother-heroine" received 21 female
on Tuesday, July 18, in the region awarded breast signs and was given the honorary title "Mother-heroine" 21 the woman who gave birth to and raised 5 and more children. Participation in the award was received by the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna and head of the Department of family and youth of regional state administration Igor Black. The award ceremony was held in accordance with the presidential decree of Ukraine from may 13, 2017. In this regard, mothers-heroines were also paid a lump sum in the amount of 10 living wages of citizens, i.e. 16 thousand hryvnia. According to the chief of the division of family and youth of regional state administration Igor Black, in a population of 11 158 large families, which brought more than 35 thousand children. For 2007-2015 6 more than 450 women who gave birth to and raised 5 children, was awarded the honorary title of Ukraine "Mother-heroine". In 2016, the honorary title of Ukraine "Mother-heroine" received 58 women from Ternopil region. "The title "Mother-heroine" is assigned to those mothers who gave birth to and raised until the age of eight five and more children. Assigned to it in accordance with such criteria as: a significant personal contribution to the education of children in the family, creating favorable conditions for children's education, development of their creative abilities, formation of high spiritual and moral qualities.
