Khust local Prosecutor's office appealed with a claim to Irshava district court of the Transcarpathian region in the interests of the state in the face of Irshavsky city Council in two individuals, residents of Irshava district, which sentence Irshava district court of the Transcarpathian region found guilty of committing criminal offences under article 246 of the criminal code of Ukraine-illegal cutting of forests. It is established that the Transcarpathians, upon a preliminary collusion, in violation of the requirements of the Forest code of Ukraine and procedure for special use of forest resources, illegally cut healthy trees rocks "Beech" three wood and 8 rocks ‘Oak’ than led to substantial harm to the public interest totaling more than 55 thousand UAH. As noted by the Deputy head of Khust local Prosecutor Peter Babinec, the Prosecutor's office in the court requires to recover from the defendants in favor of the state in the face of Irshavsky city Council a sum of money, which caused environmental harm as a result of committing a criminal offence.
