Chernivtsi: Entrepreneurs familiarized with the labor law changes
the Department of labour and social protection of population of the city Council in the framework of preventive measures conducted a seminar for business entities operating in the construction sector on the theme "changes in the labour legislation, the responsibility for its failure". Local authorities are entitled to check compliance with labour legislation in accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 26.04.2017 No. 295 "Some issues of implementation of article 259 of the code of laws on work of Ukraine and article 34 of the law of Ukraine "About local government in Ukraine", which approved algorithms of control and supervision over compliance with labor legislation. At the seminar, noted that neglect and failure to meet minimum guarantees in labour remuneration could cost the employer penalties by a significant amount (from minimum wage (3200 UAH.) up to one hundred times the size (320000 UAH). To conduct inspections on the enterprises and physical persons using work of hired workers present acquainted the specialists of the Department of labor. The participants of the seminar received answers to questions about inspections and penalties in case of non-observance of the labour legislation. The seminar was attended by the Deputy head of the financial-economic Department of the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region Fleecy Maya, who told the participants about enrollment periods work in insurance experience in retirement, about the changes that take place in the new draft of the pension reform.
