Deputy Chairman of Volyn regional Council convicted of offence of corruption
court of Appeal of Volyn region has left without satisfaction the appeal complaint of the Deputy of Volyn regional Council of the Roman Karpyuk the decision of Lutsk city district court on bringing him to administrative responsibility for administrative offences, floor’linked to corruption. As is known in Volyn region, employees of Department of protection of the economy in the region of the Department of protection of economy of the National police of Ukraine prepared a Protocol on the violation of financial control requirements (administrative offense under part 1 of article 172-6 of the code of Ukraine on administrative offences). Official without valid reasons for untimely submitted Declaration of the person authorized to perform state functions or local government. Therefore, Deputy Chairman of the regional Council found guilty of committing an offense and assigned a penalty of a fine in the amount of 100 nontaxable minimum incomes of citizens (1700 UAH.).
