In Chernihiv, the working group recommended to increase the fare in the bus
July 21, Chernihiv city Council held a meeting of the working group on the implementation of the pricing policy in the housing sector and in urban passenger transport, under the leadership of the Deputy mayor Andrey Chernenko. The meeting discussed the question of increase of fare in the trolley to 3 hryvnias. The current value (UAH 2) operates in our city from April 2015. According to the chief traffic services KP "Chernihiv trolleybus Department" in the city Council Artem Tarasenko, a prerequisite for the revision of fares is a significant growth in the components of the cost of commuting. The main reason is the cancellation of preferential electricity tariff for companies engaged in passenger transport. Until 2017, KP "HONOR" was paid for electric energy in accordance with PCMU from 26.06.2007 ¹ 881 "on tariffs for electric energy for urban transport" at the price for the population. From 2017 this decision reversed. The cost of electricity compared to the 2016 rose more than 3 times, compared to 2015 year, when it introduced the current fare is more than 5 times. An additional factor for the growth of the fare was to raise the minimum wage to RS 3200 and changing industry standards on wages. Between the Ministry of transport of Ukraine and Central Committee of trade Union of workers of housing and communal services concluded Sectoral agreement in 2017 and 2018, the provisions of which shall be applied by municipal electric companies as remuneration of employees (clause 1.3 of the Agreement). In 2015 the losses of the enterprise made up UAH 0.5 million for 2016 is 2.5 million UAH, for the first half of 2017 and 4.3 million UAH. Thus, to ensure stable and high-quality passenger transport it is necessary to revise the fare. Normative calculations the design cost of travel performed in accordance with the Procedure of formation of tariffs for services of city electric transport (tram, trolleybus), approved by order of Ministry of transport of Ukraine dated 25.11.2013, ¹ 940. In the calculation of project cost of travel to improve the quality of passenger transportation is provided to increase average daily output of trolleybuses from 62 to 67 units. During the session, the working group recommended increasing the fare in the bus Chernigov to 3 hryvnias. "For" the decision voted 7 members of the working group of 9 members present.
