In the Volyn region exposed the citizen who provided the illegal benefit to the Prosecutor for the substitution of physical evidence in criminal proceedings.
The Prosecutor's office of Volyn region of the operational support office for the protection of the economy in the field of Department of protection of economy of the National police of Ukraine exposed the person who provided improper benefits to an employee of one of local prosecutors. The proposal for giving undue advantage to the Prosecutor reported to the leadership, and then – due to his integrity, the offender was detained at the time of the crime. In particular, the attacker has provided 5 thousand USD procedural Prosecutor for the substitution of evidence – seized in criminal proceedings 30 kilograms of illegally extracted amber. The man was arrested. The question on a message to him about suspicion in Commission of the criminal offense under part 3 St. 369 Criminal code of Ukraine (giving undue advantage to the person who holds responsible position). Note that the sanction of part 3 of article 369 of the criminal code of Ukraine prescribes punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from four till eight years with confiscation of property.
