During meeting of Board of Service for children of Ternopil regional state administration discussed the issues of creation and functioning of family forms of upbringing orphans and children deprived of parental care. Participation in the Board also took the heads of the departments for children of district administrations. As it became known during the Board, as at present live in the region 1035 of orphans and children deprived of parental care. Of the total number of orphans and children deprived of parental care, 699 children (67,5 %) are raised in families of guardians (including 26 children with special needs). 256 orphans and children deprived of parental care found family warmth and comfort in 125 foster families and 9 children's homes of family type. As noted by the head of Service for families of the regional state administration Rostislav Blackbird, from the beginning of 2017 created in the region 2 foster family and a 2 kids. In the previously established adoptive families Dallastown 5 children, 2 children Dallastown in the children's home of family type in the Shumsky district.
