The Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region exposed and detained the officer while receiving 20 thousand UAH of illegal benefit
the results of professional and operational work of the officers of Department on investigation of criminal proceedings by investigators of the prosecution and the procedural management of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia oblast and the management of the SBU in Vinnytsia region in the framework of investigation of criminal proceedings on signs of the criminal offense under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine, on Saturday, 29.07.2017, at 19.00 unmasked and arrested at the scene of the chief state inspector of one of customs posts Vinnitsa customs of the main Directorate of DFS in Vinnitsa region, who demanded and received from persons of illegal benefit in the amount of 20 thousand UAH, for smooth movement without clearance of the goods for commercial purposes in more established weight and quantity. The specified officer is detained as article 208 criminal procedure code of Ukraine after committing a serious criminal offence, namely obtaining improper benefits. Currently, the criminal proceedings are carried out Prime investigative (search) and procedural actions aimed at about’objectively establishing the circumstances of the criminal offense, including a number of inspections and searches, interrogated the Complainant, witnesses and the suspect. Investigators and the procedural heads of the detainee is handed a notification on suspicion of committing a criminal offense under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine, and preparing the petition for election measures of restraint in form of detention and the petition for dismissal. For the committed criminal offense provided for punishment by deprivation of liberty for a term of n’five to ten years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years, with confiscation of property.
