Velikobereznyansky district court convicted a local resident of committing a criminal offense under part 2 St. 332 criminal code of Ukraine (assistance in organization of illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine, in particular the provision of funds for the removal of obstacles, committed in respect of several persons, on preliminary arrangement by group of persons). During pre-trial investigation and proved at the hearing confirmed that the man was held at his home seven illegal migrants from the republics of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, with a view to their further transportation across the state border in Europe. Velyky Berezny district court found the local resident guilty and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with a probation period of 3 years. Now the verdict has not yet entered into force.
