Started all-Ukrainian competition of journalistic works on the theme of decentralization 2018
the third time the Ministry of regional development conducts the annual all-Ukrainian competition of journalistic works "Reforming local government and territorial organization of power." Permanent partners of the Ministry in matters of the Competition is a Program of the Council of Europe "Decentralization and local government reform in Ukraine" (hereinafter – the CE Program) and "Internews-Ukraine". The contest aims to raise awareness of people about the reform and to diversify the motivational resources for journalists at the regional level that will encourage the coverage of the decentralization process in Ukraine. In 2018, the Competition is held in accordance with the order of Ministry of regional development from 26.03.2018, No. 66. To participation in Competition are accepted materials in four categories: online publication, article (in print media), the radio piece, video. Materials must be published for the first time in the period from October 15, 2017 until December 20, 2018. Entry should be submitted before 20 December 2018. A participant may submit no more than one entry in each category, putting them into separate tender applications. Thematic priorities the contest works: Purpose, objectives, content, expected results and benefits of reforms aimed at decentralization and development of local self-government. Voluntary Association of territorial communities. The cooperation of local communities. Financial decentralization and resource support to local and regional development. Increase the ability of local governments to provide quality services to the community and develop the welfare of communities. Best practices of local governments on the socio-economic development of territories, their compliance with European standards and global trends.
