With the beginning of the year the honorary title "Mother heroine" was given to 22 mothers of Ternopil region, which gave birth to and raised until the age of eight five and more children. For 2017 is the title awarded to 43 mothers from 2007 to 2016 – 6 528 mothers. All women paid a one-time cash award in the amount of 10 living wages. Just live in the region 11 158 large families, which brought more than 35 thousand children.
