On face for cooperation with terrorists, the offender was sentenced to 14 years in prison
As we reported earlier, one of the members of the terrorist organization in August 2014, having been convicted by the court of Appeal of Vinnytsia region to three years of imprisonment for the criminal offense under part 4 St. 296 criminal code of Ukraine, joined in the composition of the DNR terrorist organization (terrorist group «Sparta» under the command of the head of the group named "Motorola"). After receiving military uniform, firearms, choosing a call sign "Sinner", distributed according to the managers of the said terrorist group mandatory'ties, from August 2014 to late January 2015 participated directly in hostilities against law enforcement officers and members of the Armed forces of Ukraine on the seizure of Donetsk international airport named after Sergei Prokofiev’eve with small arms. Thus, by his actions the accused committed the criminal offense under part 1 article 258-3 of UK of Ukraine - participation in a terrorist organization. The trial took place in the special order of judicial proceedings, that is, in the absence of the accused. the verdict of the panel of judges of the Vinnitsa city court on the principled position of the public Prosecutor, the offender was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
