Addressing the audience at the event, Andrew Gyzhko, said: "Ukraine is the second year in a state of war. The price of independence of our state is hundreds of thousands of citizens of the state. Unfortunately our region has not been spared grief, we have more than 146 dead townspeople. And the memory of each of them haptus in such memorial plaques. I wish us all peaceful skies, a rapid end to this shameful war, but we all in life need to remember these Heroes, what was the "cyborg" Alexander Kondratyuk" . The right to open a memorial Board received the daughter of Alexander Kondratyuk – six-year-old angelina, which together with Miroslava Kondratiuk received his father's award - the order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky 3rd degree. "This terrible war robbed our family of the honored person. Sasha was a good son and husband, a better father and a good friend. He was not only a doctor by profession, it was the vocation of his soul, he lived it. He loved Ukraine, and God forbid everyone to love their Motherland. Alexander was always there where needed, so was an active member of the first and second Maidan. When the war began he volunteered, it was his choice. To the last hoped that the state will be justice and he lived in justice. Sasha was proud that he studied at the Medical University, and the University can be proud of what he studied right here," noticed widow Myroslava Kondratyuk. According to her, relatives to the last hoped, that Alexander alive was taken prisoner, but not meant to be. Now their six year old daughter wants to become a doctor like his father. Present at the event laid flowers to the memorial and observed a minute of silence for all those killed in the ATO zone fighters.
