Corruption is one of the most urgent social problems, which fully applies to Ukraine. The court of appeal, overturned the decision of the district court and ordered a new one, which sentenced the accused to 5 years imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold positions in the judiciary for a period of 3 years and with property confiscation. Also this sentence he was deprived of 12 grade civil servant. In addition, last year the court of first instance handed down the sentence has not entered into legal force, on the condemnation to real imprisonment with confiscation of property five persons for committing of corruption crimes. Among the condemned – 4 heads of structural divisions of bodies of internal Affairs and head of the Supervisory authority. Among prosecuted eight government employees – heads of departments of the Executive and registration services, head of regional state administration and the chief accountant of one of departments of UMVD of Ukraine in area, eight police, the taxman, five officials of local governments, 11 employees of medical institutions, including the three main physician, the number of employees of legal persons of public law. In addition, after the intervention of the Prosecutor's office provided reimbursement of 165 thousand hryvnias of the loss caused by corruption offenses and seized the property of the accused in the total sum of 3,5 million hryvnias.
