In the Transcarpathian region in chop rescuers citizens taught fire safety rules
In cold weather one of the most insidious enemies of man are heaters. Because they can not only present heat but also cause a devastating fire. Knowing this, rescuers whenever possible, try to warn people about the danger. In particular, on 25 January in chop representatives of SSES has implemented information-rose’explanatory work with the population on observance of fire safety rules at operation of heating devices. Residents chop met people in uniform, going to work, home or in the shop. The route rescuers ran through the streets of S. Petofi, Peace, Gagarin and the lane Border. All employees of the state Service for emergency situations conducted interviews with nearly two hundred citizens. They were given informational booklets related to fire protection and told how to prevent fire at home. Made an emphasis on the safe use of electric heaters, which people prefer in connection’connection with the high cost of natural gas. Among other things, rescuers urged citizens to properly install heaters and do not cover their clothing and toys, should not be left on the device for heating at the time of leaving home and the like. In addition, much attention is given to the request to parents not to leave children at home without adult supervision. After all, playing alone, children can injure or cause fire.
